Witness Insecurity Finale Part 1

I only started watching this show after the first 5 episodes were shown. I heard it was good since everyone is idol-shipping the Bosco-Linda pair. This time, it's their third time being paired up together. First being in Moonlight Resonance (Bosco - Dr. Ling & Linda - Yu Sou Sum) followed by The Gem Life (Bosco - William Shek & Linda - Elise Sung).

Kiu Kong San (Paul Chun) and his younger brother Kiu Kong Ho (Ram Tseung) were suspected to be involved in the kidnapping of one of HK's tycoon Tong Sai Ping and the mastermind behind Sapura's (Joseph Lee) murder.

To be honest, the first half of the series was much better than the last half. The part where Hailey Kiu Chi Lam (Linda Chung) slowly recovers from her emotional depression and the whole WPU with the head, Hui Wai Sum aka Hui Sir aka Ah Sum (Bosco Wong). Those scenes were the most interesting. Then, there's the part where Kiu Kong San dislikes and likes Hui Sir alternatively. When Hui Sir digged too deep into the Kiu brothers and Sapura's past, that's when the show went slightly downhill.

Hui Sir almost got jailed when he accidently cross China's border. But eventually he got fired. That didn't stop him in furthering his investigation.

While walking back to his house, it was raining and coincidently Chi Lam was avoiding the rain nearby and they both met. Chi Lam knew that Hui Sir got fired and asked him to stop investigating whatever he's on but he insisted.

Chi Lam : Ah Sum! Listen to me. Don't step deeper into the case, I don't want anything to happen to you.
Hui Sir : What can happen to me? Your dad caused me my job, he still wants to take my life?
Chi Lam : Do you mean that my dad made you lose your job?
Hui Sir : Besides him, who else doesn't want me to investigate Sapura's case?
Chi Lam : Believe me, my dad said  it himself that he wasn't involved in this case. Furthermore, you investigated and couldn't find any evidence.
Hui Sir : Of course there's no eveidene or not, how can he be sitting so comfortably?
Chi Lam : Why do you keep on insisting that my dad is the mastermind?
Hui Sir : Because this is the fact! No matter what, I'll investigate properly.
Chi Lam : I have one more problem to ask you. Is it that you can't forget your ex-girlfriend that you can't be with me? Is it true or false? My dad said that you wanted to be the rich son-in-law that's why you wanted to be with me. You used this excuse (still can't forget ex-girlfriend) so that I'll fell touched by it to give a path for yourself. Can you tell me what my dad said is true?
Hui Sir : *smirks* It's false that I can't forget my ex-girlfriend. But, what your dad said isn't the truth either.
Chi Lam : Then tell me, Why won't you be with me?
Hui Sir : Cause I don't agree with your dad's ways.
Chi Lam : Why must you go against my dad? You always tell me not to trust my dad's words but the one telling lies is you!
Hui Sir : I don't want to argue with you. Our relationship is off. I want to concentrate on what I like to do. Good bye.

Later on, Chi Lam went to the church cause she was so confused in who's telling the truth and who's telling lies. In the end, she went to see her psychiatrist, Kelly (Queenie Chu) that she wants to leave HK. So, Kelly suggested that she goes to Germany to study music since Chi Lam said that last time. On the other hand, Kiu Kong Ho tried to be in Jo Jo's (Cilla Kung) good books but failed as she believes that the Kiu brothers are the ones who caused Brother's (Ronald Law) death and made Hui Sir lost his job.

Kiu Kong San agreed in sending Chi Lam to study music overseas so that she can foret Hui Sir. Suddenly, Shawn (Eric Li) came to see the Kiu brothers in a very messed up state. Clearly, he has been taking drugs. No matter how Shawn begged Kiu Kong San, he doesn't want to help Shawn anymore causing Shawn to have a vengeance against him. Then, Shawn went to see Hui Sir to plan at getting back at Kiu Kong San.

Hui Sir purposely went to see one of his subordinates when he was still in WPU. It seems that the WPU is protecting a witness (the Dr. with no license) in Sapura's case and Hui Sir wants to see that Dr. but according to WPU's procedures, they are not allowed to disclose the witness' location. Hui Sir insisted to know the Dr.'s location but hs subordinate warned him that if Hui Sir keep on asking, he has to report this matter to the superior. Later, he had dinner with all his subordinates asking about their condition.

Kiu Kong San got news that Hui Sir is still onto Sapura's case. To get Hui Sir off the case, Kiu Kong San had to ask help from the gangsters to give him a warning. Fuadi, Sapura's son, and Hui Sir meet up. Fuadi wants Hui Sir to find out the truth behind Sapura's case. Fuadi even hired a private investigator to help Hui Sir.

Kiu Kong San : There's so many missing people in HK, him as an additional won't be weird.

Thank God two policemen came in time or not Hui Sir will be injured heavily.

This small gesture by Poon Sir (Savio Tsang) is so cute!

Hui Sir : It's a smal matter, it won't kill me.

Poon Sir : Do you know who did this?

Hui Sir : Of course, but there's no evidence.

Poon Sir : There's a possibility to arrest those gangsters.

Hui Sir : Even if they are arrested, their mouth will be shut by money which is enough to buy a house.

Poon Sir : What the police can do is limited.

Hui Sir : Kiu Kong San has so much money to spend, but I think the more he tries to cover up, the closer I am to the truth.

Poon Sir : Ah Sum, I've got news that the four big gang have received orders to kill you.

Hui Sir : See first.

Poon Sir : You were a police, you do know that the police can't protect you 24 hours. We can only order more police to round your place often. Can you think of something that can secure your safety?

Hui Sir : Are you hinting to me that I should leave HK?

Poon Sir : Given to others, that's what they'll think.

Hui Sir : But during this period, I won't leave. I'm just an orphan, my life isn't worth much. No big deal.

True to what Poon Sir said, there were three gangsters following Hui Sir. Hui Sir knew he was being followed. Luckily, he bumped into two policemen and those three retreated. On the way back to his house, he noticed a suspicious van. And just as he was about to enter the lobby to his house, he saw two suspicious guys in there and left. Those in the van saw him left and came out. Hui Sir walked quickly. In just a nick of time, Shawn drove by and pick up Hui Sir. Shawn brought Hui Sir to his old house

Kiu Chi Lam and Kelly were shopping before their trip. When she reached home, the director of the music studio that her dad owns came to tell her that the people from the music school she's applying to would be coming to HK to interview students. Chi Lam jumps at the chance. Then, she has to decide what song to play for the panel of interviewers. I thought she would play the theme song of this show since it is one of the music pieces in her expertise. Kelly tells Chi Lam's dad that her overall calm appearence doesn't mean that she's let go of things between her and Hui Sir.

Ok! Interview time! Guess what music Chi Lam chose! It's 月亮代表我的心 which is an old song sang by Teresa Teng. The song title literally means "The Moon Represents My Heart". The panel of interviewers at first found the song to be peculiar but grew to like it. While she was playing it, she was reminiscing about how she first met Hui Sir to the time she spent with him. This song reminded her of him because of the time Hui Sir sang this song badly.

After she finished playing, she quickly ran out of the interview room, too overwhelmed by her feelings.
