It's the 29th of February!! Once in 4 years for that to happen!!

See anything different?!! Could you see the facebook bar is all white?!! At first I thought they're changing the whole format, but I later found out that my laptop was "throwing tantrums" and I had to restart my whole laptop.

Now I know that my laptop has its own emotions. Sounds kinda creepy!!XD

About my own alternative ending for L'Escargot, I think I can only get it done by this weekend!! Hopefully!! In the meantime, enjoy watching Hippocratic Crush!! Another nice doctor drama to watch. It's more about the lives of doctors compared to Healing Hands!!

Nostalgia

To make up for the extremely late post, I found this video on Youtube. It's one of my favourite TVB dramas.

Yup, you guessed it!! It's Triumph In The Skies. This is from episode 3. When I first watched it, the character I liked the most is Samuel Tong acted by Francis Ng. And I still like that character. But, I won't deny that Ron Ng's character Issac Tong is kinda handsome here.

L'Escargot Finale Part 2

Once back home, Man Wah was still quiet since coming back from the hospital. Jim apologises to her.

Jim : Let me help you up to the bedroom so that you can rest.

Man Wah : Don't touch me. My heart is as dead as the miscarriaged baby. (Aww, so sad and touching) *Stands and walks away*

Choi Yi : Where are you going?

Man Wah : I want to pack my stuff and leave.

Choi Yi : You have just been discharged from the hospital, your body is still weak. Stay at home so everyone can take care of you.

Man Wah : I don't want to see him.

Jim : You just don't want to see me. You don't have to leave. I'll leave.

So, he walked out. Joyce chased after him.

  

Choi Yi : Brother, please don't continue doing wrong things. Please stop disturbing Ka Lok. In your heart, you know who she truly loves. I know now that you don't want to let go because you're not satisfied losing to Tai Ting. But now reaching at this level, please let go. Don't hurt Man Wah.

Jim : I know what I'm doing.

Kwan Sifu just bought an abandoned house in the outskirts of town somewhere in New Territories from a close friend of Ah Lan's relatives from the village, Mr Kao. Mr. Kao told him that this one story house is on a piece of farming land, so he is not allowed to extend its height (seriously don't get this). Wow, basically, Kwan Sifu has a huge land around that house. Yeah, he's gonna renovate it on his own. He didn't even allow his master and colleagues to help him. They just help to deliver the building materials to him. Long Kiu came.

Kwan Sifu : You care so much about me, I'm so happy. But, I still need to face reality. The landlord wants to raise the rent of the room, I don't think I can afford it. Must I fight over the rights of the house? That time my younger brother and I were at odds. You said that you don't want to see me like that (he getting angry and fighting with his siblings). Even if I did get the house, what's the purpose? Do we really want to see the family of four sleep on the streets? We tried to buy a house for over ten years. But, the money I earn can never keep up with the prices of houses. We still need to have a plan. Isn't it good now? I can build a house by myself.

Ah Hong and his wife were at the bank to withdraw all their money (HKD68400!!!). Ah Hong wanted to give all the money to his brother after all he has done for the family including the installments he payed for the house they were staying in right now. Ah Lan tried to reason with him. But, Ah Hong still insists and told her that Kwan Sifu just got himself a land and an abadoned house and they didn't even know whether it is bought and rented. She said instead of giving it all, she wanted around HKD20000 to send their daughter, Kwai Kwai, on a study trip to Singapore for two weeks. Long Kiu heard them and scolded them.

Long Kiu : Are your humans? I can't stand the both of you already. Your brother doesn't want to fight for the house, you didn't even say thank you and now you're treating as if the house is yours. And HKD20000 for Kwai Kwai's study trip? Your brother spent his HKD80000 to buy an abandoned house in New Territories and build up the house by himself so that it is liveable.

Ka Hong : We don't know about that.

Ah Lan : I agree.

Long Kiu : You don't know, then do you know that your brother has sudden blindness illness? Soon, he can't see.

Ah Hong, Ah Lan, Ka Wing and Bok King went to visit Kwan Sifu at that old house. Ah Hong apologised to his brother saying he and his wife were at fault. Ah Lan handed Kwan Sifu all their money which Kwan Sifu at first rejected it but Ah Hong insist on giving it to him. Ah Lan said it can be used to renovate the house. To make things up, Ah Lan decided to help renovate the house. And all of them agreed to it. Kwan Sifu didn't want them to help but they insisted. Kwan Sifu said that they don't have the building experience and scared that they will screw things up. But they told him to just sit down and give them directions. Long Kiu and Lam Lam came later. Long Kiu's colleague, Paul sent them there and will pick them up later once they are done.

Lam Lam : Dad, you want to build a house here? I want to help my dad to renovate the house.

Ka Wing : Lam Lam, you want to be a child labourer?

Long Kiu : You can't help. It is dangerous.

Bok King : Yeah, it hurts too!

Kwan Sifu : Lam Lam, I'm planting some flowers. Why don't you help me with that?

Lam Lam : Ok.

When they were planting, Lam Lam asked whether this whole place is theirs. Kwan Sifu said including the whole land, their place is as wide as a hectare. Ka Wing asked Lam Lam when she wants to move in. Long Kiu told her not to listen to her uncle.

Kwan Sifu : I thought you like the atmosphere in the village.

Long Kiu : I do, but it's more convenient in the city. Your daughter has to go to school and I need to go to work.

Lam Lam : Mum, my hand is very itchy.

Long Kiu : Let me see. *Looks at hand* How can it be like that?

Kwan Sifu : Maybe she got bitten by the grass mosquitoes.

Long Kiu : Are you sure? It can be Aedes mosquitoes. I better bring her to see a doctor.

She calls Paul to pick them up so that she can bring Lam Lam to see a doctor. Thank God, it's not Aedes mosquito. Long Kiu sends Paul off once he sent the both of them home.

Paul : Long Kiu, remember our promise?

Long Kiu : I remember. We are only pretending to be together.

Paul : Yes, but the truth is, if your husband reflects on his mistakes and the two of you reunite, I'm ok with it. But, the problem is, during this whole period, I find that he's doing the opposite. He moves to New Territories making both of you and your daughter to travel far just to see him. I can't stand it. That time we said to put up an act. But, I can't deny that I have my own intentions, hoping to achieve my dream. I want to do so many things as that you will be touched by them. *Shakes head* Make you accept me. Long Kiu, trust me. If you be with me, I will make you feel happy. You don't have to worry about anything.

Long Kiu : Can you give me some time to think about it?

Paul : *Nods head* Ok.

Then, he left. By the look on Long Kiu's face, I could see that she can't decide. Or more like she still loves Kwan Sifu but doesn't know whether to move in with him or continue seeing Paul.

Man Wah went back home, bringing Mr. Cheuk (her ex-colleague in the entertainment industry) along.

Man Wah : You've come?

Jim : You called me, asking me to come and have something to tell me.

Man Wah : Yes.

Cheuk : Man Wah, let me do the talking.

Man Wah : Ok.

Cheuk : These two days, Man Wah has told me all about the both of you. I knew Man Wah longer than you. All these years, she helped solve a lot of problems. That's why I said that Man Wah's problems are my problems. I won't let anybody to hurt her.

Jim : Do you know what you are talking about? Man Wah is my wife.

Cheuk : Have you treated her as your wife? The type of people like you, if you don't receive any lessons, you won't learn. Now, I officially tell you that my 2 friends and I are retracting our investments. We won't be involve in your company's estate project.

Jim : *snickers* You think by doing that you can threaten me? My company is no more a small company.

Cheuk : You're right. It's no more a small company. But, without our investments, do you think you can complete your project? With your capital alone, you can only borrow money from the bank and buy a piece of land. Man Wah, I'm going back to my office first. Later I will pick you up for lunch.

Man Wah : Ok.

And so, big guy leaves. Wow, I'm amazed that he has more money and power than Jim. In your face Jim!! You deserve this!!

Jim : What's the relationship between the both of you? (Man Wah and Cheuk)

Man Wah : We've spent a lot of time together. You think what is our relationship?

Jim : How dare you treat me like that?

Man Wah : How have you treated  me before? Now only you feel how painful it is to be betrayed?

Jim : Even if I have other women, I've never hurt you like that. And now, you're together with another man, collaborating with him to go against me to make me lose everything? Why are you doing this? Why are you doing this to me?

Man Wah : You've forced me to do it, I didn't want to. You said it yourself, when we didn't have anything, you would give me blissfulness and happiness. You said you only love me. And now, you have the wealth and power, you think you are God! You think everything you do has logics, saying that you love another woman doesn't mean you don't love me. All that's rubbish. If you want to be with that woman (referring to Ka Lok), I want you to lose everything you have!!

Jim : *lifts hand to slap but stop in mid-air*

Man Wah : Slap me!! Why aren't you slapping me? Nothing else hurts more than losing my baby. Jim, I'm giving you two options. Either you leave that woman and live as how we used to or we divorce.

Jim : *slowly brings down hand* I won't divorce you. * walks away and stops when Man Wah shouted back*

Man Wah : Why are you willing to lose everything but don't want to clearly say that you won't leave that woman? Why?

And he just leaves. So heartless!! If I were Man Wah, I would straightaway call a lawyer and sign the divorce papers!! So, he went back to his office and was throwing tantrums (and wine bottles!!). His assisstant came to tell him what Mr. Cheuk said earlier about not having enough money for the project. He said that to make up for the huge sum, they have to borrow from other banks and take back the old building in Wan Chai. Jim asked him to go immediately. But his assisstant reason with him that the residents had stay there a long time. Jim wanted him to get back the building at any cost.

Tai Ting came home to see that his dad, Ting Hoi is there. Tai Ting ask him to stay back for dinner since his mum, Wong Lai Sim, had cook dinner. His mum told him that Joyce (Choi Yi) brought his lucky fish for him awhile ago. She passed a message through his mum, telling him to get well soon and get profits from his company (Yeah, he opened up a real estate company!!). Tai Ting invited his dad to drink some beer with him outside after dinner.

Ting Hoi : I heard your mum said that you and Ka Lok split, I found it weird at first. I didn't know that during this whole time, a lot of things happened between the both of you.

Tai Ting : Frankly speaking, if you asked me who I love the most, I can tell you it's Ka Lok. But, Joyce is a good girl and has sacrificed a lot for me.

Ting Hoi : You're right. Both women are important to you, if you have to choose one, it's like hurting the other one.

Tai Ting : I have thought to tell Joyce everything about Ka Lok. But, she knows where I'm going at and always avoid it. I really don't know what to do so as to not hurt her. That's why, since coming out of the hospital until now, I didn't contact her.

Ting Hoi : When it comes to this matter, you're better than me. At least you're brave enough to face it.

Tai Ting : Now I understand what you have been going through. No one is right or wrong in love. If you were to choose that time, it's like me having to choose between Ka Lok and Joyce now.

Ting Hoi : I'm useless. The two women in my lives have to go through a lot because of me. If you really love both, you better don't follow my footsteps. Or not all three parties will suffer. No matter what, you still have to choose.

Tai Ting : Thanks, dad.

Man Wah saw a news on TV about a fire at an old building in Wan Chai. I was like, "Hmm, must be Jim's doing." One dead and many injured. Ok, that's over the top. The fire was caused by a short circuit. Jim went home to see that his wife had called a lawyer. Jim asked the lawyer to leave. Seriously, lawyers are like one of the most stressful job!!

Jim : I've told you that I won't divorce you.

Man Wah : I've already give you your last chance. You've changed. I can't believe you can do something bad. You're heartless.

Jim : If you didn't ask Mr. Cheuk to take back his investment, I won't have rush to take back those old buildings to be turned into hard cash!!

Man Wah : I just want you to come back to my side. I didn't want you to do something evil.

Jim : I've only ordered Ben (his assisstant) to cut the electricity and water supply, I never thought that the residents will connect the circuit back, causing a fire. I really don't want to mess with people's lifes.

Man Wah : Even if you want the whole incident to be a mishap, it's still a wrongdoing. I don't want to argue further. If you don't want to divorce today, I will still apply for a divorce.

So, Jim left the house and was about to get his car when a guy (who used to live in the same block as Long Kiu and Kwan Sifu and moved away to a hostel) came to get revenge on Jim. Because of what Jim did, that guy's friend died in the fire. That guy manage to push Jim away, making him fall down. He took an empty beer bottle, break it so that the edged are sharp and was about to attack Jim, when Man Wah came out to rescue him. She got stabbed instead. Man Wah was admitted into hospital.

Jim : I'm sorry, Man Wah. The one lying there (on the bed in hospital) should have been me, not you. What happened to you it's all because of me. If it's retribution, it should befall on me. You shouldn't have taken my place. Now I understand that everything including Ka Lok is not as important as you because you are the only one who will risk your life for me. Honey, you must get well soon. When you are better, we will start a new life. *cries*

Man Wah : (heard everything) *lets out a tear*

Later, Jim went to meet Ka Lok.

Ka Lok : You said on the phone that this will be our last time seeing each other. I hope you keep your promise.

Jim : I came here today to apologise. I hope you forgive me because I've hurt you before. I used to be superior. I thought I could do everything for you. I wanted to give you happiness but in this world, some things can't be forced upon. I admit that I love you. But, because of that, I didn't care about my wife. I've hurt the woman I love the most. I've never cared about her feelings. I was too selfish. I'm really sorry for my wife. The one that hurt the most this time is my wife. For my sake, she suffered a lot. She got a miscarriage because of me. She got stabbed and is now in the hospital because of me too.

Ka Lok : Is she alright?

Jim : The doctor said she is in stable condition. She sacrificed a lot for me.

Ka Lok : Actually, what you said is already enough. Speaking about it, I'm really sorry for Mrs. Gao (Man Wah).

Jim : It's not your fault. The responsiblity is mine. I will be responsible for everything I've done. Later, I will turn myself in.

Ka Lok : Turn yourself in?

Jim : I've ordered someone to cut off the electricity and water supply at the old building. In the end, a fire broke out and caused a life.

Ka Lok : But, if you do like that, you'll go into prison.

Jim : I have to be responsible for what I've done. I'm scared I'll drag my wife into this mess. She sacrificed a lot for me. I'm willing to go into jail for her sake.

Ka Lok : I believe if your wife hears you say this, she will be touched. Both of you will be happy together.

Jim : Thank you.

Jim said "She sacrificed a lot for me" so many times!! At least the both of them are gonna have a happy ending together. I don't think Ka Lok would have one. That night, Ka Lok went to meet up with her older brother Kwan Sifu at his new house.

Kwan Sifu : Why you visit me all of a sudden? My house is almost done.

Ka Lok : I...like the cooling air here that's why I came to visit you.

Kwan Sifu : As long you don't treat this place as a place for you to escape from everything. There are some things that you can't procrastinate. You must solve it.

Ka Lok : Actually, all of us wants it to be solved. But, we're afraid to face it, scared that someone will get hurt. Scared that if forced upon, the opposite will happen. I'm scared I'll be the losing party.

Kwan Sifu : Actually, the three of you are good people. It's because that the three of you are kind-hearted, that's why it is so painful. You can't prolong love matter.

Ka Lok : How about you, brother? Is this considered as your escapade?

Kwan Sifu : How can this be my escapade? This is my place to reflect on my mistakes. I used to be like other Hong Kong residents. We thought that we must have a house in the city. But, when I moved here, I've realised that a house without lift is also good. Just like this place, once I stepped out of the door, it's already the road. At night, I can sit here and watch the stars and moon.

Ka Lok : But it seems that sis-in-law doesn't like this place.

Kwan Sifu : I hope that your sis-in-law move here to stay with me. But, if she had other plans, I wouldn't force her.

Ka Lok : Are you that open-minded?

Kwan Sifu : It's just like how I've treated you all. I used to be protective over all of you. I don't let you to do this and that. Now, I've learnt to let go. Whatever your plans are in the future, I'll support you.

Ka Lok : Thanks big brother. I'll know what to do.

So, Ka Lok invited Joyce to a cafe.

Joyce : Why do you want to see me?

Ka Lok : I want to say goodbye. I will be going to Australia to study and work at the same time.

Joyce : Does Tai Ting know?

Ka Lok : *shakes head* He doesn't know.

Joyce : What's the matter with the both of you? You invited me to come at 2 p.m. He asked me to come here at 3 p.m.

Ka Lok : Maybe we've dated before, so we understand each other well.

Joyce : I know we need to clear things up between us. But, I really can't let go off Tai Ting. I've always avoided it because I don't know how to face it.

Ka Lok : Silly girl. The one that should back out is me.

Joyce : You...you love Tai Ting so much. And he can't forget you. The both of you have been through a lot.

Ka Lok : A lot of things have happened between the both of us. I used to love him and hurt him before. There's no way that we can go back together. Since we can't go back together, might as well we keep our happiest moments together in our hearts.

Joyce : But maybe Tai Ting doesn't think that way.

Ka Lok : I've known Tai Ting longer than you. I know how he thinks. Furthermore, you are a very important person in his heart.

Joyce : Both of you known each other for so long, he will forget about me very fast.

Ka Lok : I'm just Tai Ting's past. You are Tai Ting's future. *looks at watch* It's time for me to go to the airport.

Joyce : Don't you want to wait for Tai Ting?

Ka Lok : I'm scared if I see him, I won't feel like leaving him. Just tell him goodbye on my behalf. Just tell him what I told you earlier. There's more. You better tell Tai Ting not to go to the airport.

And all Joyce could give is the surprised look. Later, Tai Ting arrived at the cafe.

Tai Ting : You drank with who? *points at empty cup*

Joyce : It's Ka Lok. She left.

You know when she said that Ka Lok left, Tai Ting had that puzzled and disbelief look like as if Ka Lok passed away (touch wood). It's so evident that Tai Ting loves Ka Lok a lot, from the bottom of his heart.

Tai Ting : Left?

Joyce : She's going to Australia. She also told you not to go to the airport.

Tai Ting had that "Damn it!!" look like he's thinking, "Why didn't I arrived earlier so I could stop her from going?". C'mon, Tai Ting!! We all know that you love Ka Lok so so much!! Please go to the airport. I was hoping that he would turn into his Issac Tong character and fly back the plane to Hong Kong. HAHA!! Wishful thinking!!

The Kwan family was having a house-warming party at the newly built house. Now, all that's left is a lady owner of the house, Long Kiu. I wonder where is she?!! Yup, she definitely came. Paul sent her there. Kwan Sifu was puzzled to see a lot of luggages, thinking that she was gonna migrate. Nope, she's moving in with Kwan Sifu. So happy!! Lam Lam was the cutest!! She even dreamnt that she was planting flowers with her dad!! She brought some tomato and carnation seeds!! So cute!!

Suddenly, three guys with long sitcks came. It turned out to be Mr. Kao's son with his people. He wants to take back the land to be sold to a development company. They created havoc. Smashing almost everything. One of them hit Kwan Sifu on the head. OMG!! Hope he's alright. He's bleeding abit.

After coming back from the hospital, they went back to their old apartment. Who knew the knock on the head can cure Kwan Sifu's illness?!! What an impossible miracle!!XD

As it turns out, Kwan Sifu and Long Kiu would be staying at that old apartment whereas Ah Hong ad Ah Lan will move into the new house after they have settled the matter. Wow!! Ah Lan is very sneaky and smart. She gets the new house!! Anyway, at least Kwan Sifu gets the house in the city.

Moving on to the prison scene. To be more precise, Stanley Prison. Finally, Jim admits his wrongdoings and is in jail now. Man Wah goes to visit him.

Jim : Did you read the letters I sent?

Man Wah : 26 letters, 20006 words right? (WOW!! She really counted it!!)

Jim : You're not angry at me anymore?

Man Wah : How about you?

Jim : Whatever you have done to me, I don't have the rights to be angry at you.

Man Wah : What if I tell you now that I didn't do anything, Mr. Cheuk and I were just putting on an act? Do you believe?

Jim : Yes. Let bygones be bygones.

Man Wah : We used to be wealthy and have a big house, does it mean we will be happy? All I wanted is to live a simple life.

Jim : *nods head and looks down*

Man Wah : The sweater I've knitted for you, it's done. It's at home.

Jim : *long pause* When I'm released, I'll be a filial husband.

Man Wah : You've always been my filial husband.

Aww!! So touching, I wanted to cry!! Jim is so lucky to have a wife like that!! It's stupid of him not to be grateful!! She's pretty and open-minded!! Lucky him!!

The scene moves to a three-storey house. Guess who?!!

Joyce : Mr. Kan is satisfied that you helped build this house. His relatives praised that he's smart, know who to partner with (with Tai Ting).

Tai Ting : Mr. Kan introduced two of his relatives to partner with me.

Joyce : Really? That means that your business can grow!!

Tai Ting : Yup. Do you think that our house space is big? If there's additional of two little people (which really means kids), it'll be less quiet. I'm wondering when can we have...babies?

What?!! Since when did they got married?!! Tai Ting, are you out of your mind?!! You've always said that you love Ka Lok and that your feelings towards Joyce is just out of kindness!! Why, oh why?!!!

Joyce : I want to have alone time with you for two years first.

Tai Ting : Ok, then we plan during this two years. After two years, this plant will have more leaves (symbolic to their family having children).

I really don't feel the chemistry between this two. It feels kinda forced upon. Don't you think?!! 

Back at the old apartment, the Kwan siblings except for Ka Lok were celebrating Kwan Sifu's birthday.

Kwan Sifu's wish :

My biggest wish is for all of you to be mature. Now, that wish is granted. The only thing now is, Lok Lok (Ka Lok) is in Australia and not here. If she comes back, I'll be very happy.

Doorbell rings. I wonder who is the mysterious person? Ok, it's kinda obvious actually!! Haha!!

Bok King : *opens door abit then closes it back* Big brother On (Kwan Sifu), guess who is here?

Ok, that part was funny. Imagine you're the one ringing the doorbell. Then, someone opens the door abit and closes it back. Maybe I should try that next time. Only thing is, there's a windoe next to my house door, so there's no fun to it!!

Ka Lok : Surprise!! (Wow!! She definitely looked prettier!! No more love problems I presume.)

Long Kiu : Why did you come back all of a sudden? You've finished your studies?

Ka Lok : Not that fast. I purposely came back to celebrate my brother's birthday.

Kwan Sifu : Was it hard for you to study and work at the same time in Australia?

Ka Lok : *shakes head* It wasn't hard.

Ah Hong : You can see she never slim down, of course it wasn't hard on her.

Ka Lok : I've grown fatter too! Over there, there's a couple who cooked a lot of food for me. Wah, I've gained 5 pounds!!

Ka Wing : Sis, you came back alone?

Ka Lok : Then, you think who else?

Ka Wing : It can't be. Chinese people are admired there, you're so pretty, there's no way no one is pursuing you.

Ka Lok : *hits him*

Ah Lan : Don't hear him blabber. It's better if you get together with a Chinese guy.

Kwan Sifu : Lok Lok, did you date?

Ka Lok : No, nope. (she was blushing, so cute!!) Really, there's none. I have to go to work and study, I'm not free at all. Maybe next time when I'm free.

Bok King : Remember to tell us if you have one.

Ka Lok : Ok. How about you? When will you have good news for me?

Bok King : What good news?

Ka Lok : I meant when will you have a baby (BB in Cantonese slang) so that I can play with them when I come back during the holidays.

Bok King : *points at Ka Wing's head* This guy is like a big kid, how can he be someone's dad?

Long Kiu : Once you have a baby, he will mature.

Ah Hong : Yeah, see, I'm an example.

Ah Lan : Whatever you say.

What a nice family. They're so happy together.

Lam Lam : Dad, come over here faster and see. There's a snail on the window's ledge. What should I do? Can you help get rid of it?

Kwan Sifu : Lam Lam, leave it be. The snail has to carry its "house" its whole life, it's very hard.

Long Kiu : Isn't it just like us?

Kwan Sifu : A lot of people are like that.

Lam Lam : No, we're not. I have dad and mum. The three of us are so happy together.

Kwan Sifu : In my opinion, everyone together safe and sound is the happiest!!

Everyone agrees to that! Me too!! The show ends with all of them hugging each other.

I don't really like the ending for both Ka Lok and Tai Ting. All along, Ka Lok and Tai Ting love each other. There's no way Tai Ting can just forget about her and marry someone else. I wonder, does Ka Lok knows that Tai Ting is married. If so, what would it be like if they bump into each other in the future?!! All's said, I think I should write a few alternative endings for this show. Do y'all agree? 

L'Escargot Finale Part 1

Sorry for the late post. This time I am late cause I want the synopsis of the finale to be as accurate as possible. This show's ending did not give me any closure. Well, for 50%, maybe they did wish for this ending but not the other 50% including me!

So, let's start off where episode 28 left us. Tai Ting fell down the slope. Ka Lok, who was worried sick, went to look for him. She took a taxi and went to look around the area where Tai Ting actually went before the accident. The taxi driver told Ka Lok that this can't be the way to find him if she continues doing this. Yeah, she failed searching for him. She tried calling Tai Ting, but he left his handphone in the car. She went to his apartment to look for him. His mum reassured her that Tai Ting will be back for dinner, inviting Ka Lok to stay for dinner too. His mum was telling Ka Lok that she wish that Ka Lok would be her daughter-in-law even though she broke up with Tai Ting. But, Ka Lok said that Tai Ting had another girlfriend. His mum knew about it, telling her that she knows the girlfriend's name is Joyce. Suddenly, there's a call! No, not from the police, it's from Joyce, who's also looking for Tai Ting. His mum got puzzled when Ka Lok and Joyce wanted to find for Tai Ting.

Ka Lok and Joyce went together to the same place earlier to look for Tai Ting. They pass by the slope but couldn't find him. So, they headed back to the accident place when it started raining. Joyce twisted her ankle. They left the place. Damn it, they passed by the place where Tai Ting's car is! So, they went to make a police report but the police officer said that Tai Ting went missing for less than 48 hours, hence they can't send out their people to search for him. Ka Lok said once 48 hours had pass, they have to sent out the police to search for him.

Ka Lok and Joyce went to a hotel. Joyce brought her fishes, saying it was Tai Ting's lucky fish and is the fish is safe, so is Tai Ting. Joyce fell sick and Ka Lok stayed to take care of her. Early morning the next day, the police found a car and suspect is Tai Ting's car and wanted Ka Lok to go there to identify it. Bingo!! It is his car. And his handphone too!! So they went to search around the area and the hill slope area. Ka Lok shouted Tai Ting's name but got no answer back. I was thinking, if Tai Ting is badly injured and had not eat and drink for 2 days, where does have the energy to shout back? Logics people!! Can't the police send some K9 to help?!! Well, Tai Ting did heard them and wanted to call out (with a weak voice?) but after realising how bad he was to Ka Lok (c'mon, she was treating you worse than you treat her), he said, "Don't care about me".

The police had to stop the search as it was getting late and they didn't make any progress. So, Ka Lok went out to search for him. At night too!! It is freaking dangerous for a lady to go out at night!! But, who cares? You risked anything for you love one right? Yeah, sure enough, she saw a piece of Tai Ting's clothes (the gray jacket he wore) on the floor. She slide down the slope and lost momentum and started rolling (OH GOD!!) but didn't get hurt (THANK GOD!!). There, right next to her, she saw Tai Ting lying on the ground. She went to him and cradled his head, then called the police that she found Tai Ting. She gave him to drink a few drops of water.

Tai Ting : Ka Lok, are you angry at me?

Ka Lok : No, I was never angry at you.

Both of them are actually wrong. Tai Ting was on the verge to being unconscious. Ka Lok kept on crying, asking him not to sleep, fearing that he might die. Yeah, Tai Ting looked like he was dying. Finally, he was sent to the hospital where the doctor said he had twistes his left hand and right leg but he was okay. Luckily, he was found earlier or he might die. Man, those wounds on his faces!! But, still he looked handsome. Joyce called Ka Lok to tell her that she saw Ka Lok's message but was still abit sick. Joyce asked how was Tai Ting and whether she can go to visit him. When Tai Ting regained consciousness, Joyce was already there. She told him that she had a nightmare and in that nightmare Tai Ting died. And she hugged him, so he hugged (kind of patted her back). Ka Lok saw everything and left.

Long Kiu was sorting out the medicines for Kwan Sifu to take per day. Here's a joke that Kwan Sifu heard and told to his wife.

Kwan Sifu : If a person is colour blind, meaning he/she can only see black and white, what are the best jobs for them?

Long Kiu : What are they?

Kwan Sifu : 1st, is a news reporter because the words are black and the paper is white (referring to the reporter's script). 2nd, is a Chinese chess player (or what we call othello) because the playing chips are black and white. 3rd, is a piano player because the keys on a piano are black and white. Lastly, are government officials and politicians because they can't differentiate between black and white (meaning wrong from right).

Suddenly, he got a called from Kwan Ka Hong. Ah Hong said he needed his brother's help to settle and finish the renovation works cause he doesn't know everything about it. Kwan Sifu, changed for the better, told him off that since he took up the job, he should finish it up himself. Long Kiu told that Kwan Sifu that he changed alot. Kwan Sifu and Long Kiu went home to their mum's house to settle the house ownership. He changed the name of the owner to his wife which made Ah Hong's wife, Lau Siu Lan, mad. Actually, the house rightfully Kwan Sifu's cause he paid the house installment for years but Ah Lan wanted it for her husband. So, all of them fought over this matter. Ah Hong even blame his brother that he changed alot and suspect whether he has a brain tumour. This got Kwan Sifu very angry and he started to hit at his younger brother. Kwan Ka Wing and Ka Lok stopped everything by going out of the house with Kwan Sifu and Long Kiu.

Long Kiu said that if this happened over the ownership of the house, then she doesn't want the house. Kwan Sifu was puzzled cause in the beginning his wife wanted but now she doesn't want it. After talking for awhile, Long Kiu had to go back. One of their neighbours was shifting to a hostel as the rent of the flat was increasing and he couldn't afford it. Back at the Kwan's mum home, Ah Lan knew why Kwan Sifu was angry. Both of them just wanted a house for their kids.

Ka Wing went back to his house that both he and Bok King owns. Bok King was waiting outside the house. Ka Wing asked whether she forgot her keys but she was sad cause she went for 5 job interviews and failed all. She was tired of everything, having to go back home and sleep on a very soft mattress. Ka Wing insist she enters the house. To her surprise, the house was filled with furniture. And she got a new bed!! Ka Wing bought everything. Bok King said she would be sleeping on the bed cause the bed was in her territory but Ka Wing insist on sleeping on the bed cause he bought it. But, finally, the wife always win. He had to sleep in his sleeping bag in the living room. Then late at night, a thief entered their house. Ka Wing noticed and confronted the thief. Bok King came out of the room, asking what was the commotion. The thief held Bok King as hostage, asking for all the valuables to be handed to him. Ka Wing that they didn't have any valuables, proving with all the empty cabinets in their house. Bok King was panicking, her eyes on her favourite pillow in hand. The thief noticed something fishy and demanded her to hand over the pillow but she resisted. Ka Wing took the opportunity to the tackle the thief, getting slashed on his hand. The thief fled.

Later on, Bok King was wrapping Ka Wing's wounded hand, saying how stupid he was cause the thief had a knife. Ka Wing answered back, saying that Bok King should have given the thief her pillow. Bok King said it was her favourite pillow and money can't buy it. Ka Wing saw it as just an old and smelly pillow.

Bok King : Actually, the pillow's worth around HKD30000.
Ka Wing : What? The pillow is made from gold?

Haha, if it is that, wouldn't the pillow be hard? Actually, she kept all their savings in the pillow. Ka Wing even called her an old granny. It's kinda true cause old people last time used to keep their belongings in their pillow. Ka Wing handed the balance from the purchase of furnitures to her. Bok King was puzzled as to where he got all the money. Ka Wing said he was already used to being controlled by Bok King when it comes to spending. He even said that the money is for the family's use (that means that their going back together!). Bok King promised that she will keep all the money in their bank account.

Ka Wing : Throw that old and smelly pillow away.
Bok King : If I throw it away, what am I gonna hug tonight?
Ka Wing : *points to himself and went to carry her*
Bok King : I'm gonna hug you while I'm sleeping?

Aww, their so funny and cute!!

Back at their mum's house, Bok King and Ah Lan cooked lunch. Kwan Sifu was happy that finally Ka Wing and Bok King are actually getting married. Ka Wing, too, hoped that his brother will be together with his wife. When Ah Hong asked about the ownership, Kwan Sifu didn't want to talk about it saying that he came here cause he gave face to Ka Wing and Bok King. He asked where is Ka Lok. Bok King said she was at the hospital visiting a friend.

At the hospital, Ka Lok bought some sunflowers and was arranging it. Tai Ting asked her to sit by his side, wanting to talk to her.

Tai Ting : Sorry.

(You know, when I heard this, I thought he said that they won't be together. Plus the disappointed look on Ka Lok's face.)
Tai Ting : I've been so stupid for not trusting you and for hurting you with my words and actions.

C'mon, you both hurt each other. So, both of you don't owe each other.This was when Joyce came. She bought a hyacinth, fruits and desserts for Tai Ting. Wow, 5 types of dessert!! That's alot!! Ka Lok said that she had to go back but Tai Ting wanted to talk to her more but she insisted that she had to go. Look at his face, I could tell that he wanted to say, "I still love you more than I love Joyce". Joyce went to talk to Tai Ting. Tai Ting said he had something to tell her but she stopped him. Basically, she's trying to avoid everything. Such a coward!

Outside the hospital, Ka Lok was on her way back when Jim arrived saying that he has something to show her.

At Jim's house, Man Wah was knitting a baby shiry for her baby that is to be born. Jim's grandaunt came in. Man Wah told that she once knitted a shirt for Jim but it looked ugly, so she took it apart. Man Wah's condition is getting better, vomiting only once in awhile. The grandaunt went to a Guan Yin temple to get a talisman (a yellow triangular paper with red calligraphy on it with a red string tied to it) for her. The grandaunt said that she had other colours for knitting and went to get it. Man Wah remembered she had asked for a talisman earlier and went to look in the drawers. She found it in a box and realised that one passport was missing. She quickly went out of the room. The grandaunt asked what was the hurry, and she said that she had to go to the airport to see Jim. She ordered her maid to get a car ready for her. When she was coming down the stairs, she tripped, fell and rolled down, becoming unconscious. Her maid came and saw her lying on the floor.

Jim : The words that I said to Ting Kwun Fung, I hope you...
Ka Lok : Please, I don't want to talk about it.
Jim : Ok, I won't talk about it.

Jim was asking what's her relationship with Tai Ting now. Ka Lok said that this has nothing to do with him. Jim said that he cared for her.

Ka Lok : Where are you bringing me?
Jim : Wait, I want to give you a surprise.
Ka Lok : Where are we going? Please, stop the car! *sees signboard* You're taking me to the airport?
Jim : We're almost there.
Ka Lok : Stop the car. Please stop the car.
Jim : Wait, we're almost there. I won't hurt you.
Ka Lok : Stop the car or I'll jump off the car.
Jim : No!! *stops the car*
Ka Lok : *gets out and walks away*
Jim : Ka Lok! Please, come with me. I know that our relationship has been on the rocks and I know what's causing it. I know I can't give you a position (name), but we'll get married in Dubai and you can have anything you want.
Ka Lok : Get married in Dubai? *walks away*
Jim : *pulls her back and begging her* (saying all the crappy and cheesy lines. Yes, he said "I love you")
Ka Lok : *slaps* (WOOHOO!! A big win!!) Our relationship is over. Please, wake up! I've already wake up and now it's your turn. *walks away*

Then, Jim got a call from his maid saying that Man Wah was admitted to the hospital and she had a miscarriage.

So, this is part 1. The last part, part 2, I hope I could finish it by the next few hours or maybe a day or two. This show has alot of elements in each scene. I want to be as accurate as possible. Therefore, don't blame me if there is a slight difference from the show. I can't capture all that the characters are saying. Off to work for part 2. Please be patient!!

OMG!! OMG!!

OH MY GOD!!!! Quick post here!! L'Escargot episode 28 spoilers!! Just watched tonight's episode!! Can't believe my eyes!! I was wishing for Tai Ting's accident to happen and it finally happen in tonight's episode!!

But, I really didn't expect something worse than just a few scratches!! So, finally!! I mean FINALLY!! Tai Ting knew why Ka Lok did what she did and from Jim's mouth!! And as Ka Lok predicted (cause she knew Tai Ting like a book!) that Tai Ting couldn't accept it that Ka Lok had sacrified so much to help him repay the HKD 1 million debt!

Tai Ting drove of after that cause he couldn't accept the fact!! Yeah, why wouldn't you believe her right, Tai Ting?!! But still, we all couldn't accept the fact that she repay the debt with her body!! That is immorally wrong!!

Tai Ting, focus dude!! You're driving on the road!! Yeah, to avoid an incoming lorry (he was on the wrong side of the road) he swerve and hit a road side construction stall. He got out of the car. Really, when I watched that scene, it reminded me of Raymond Lam's character in Heart of Greed, Alfred, after a taxi hit his car and it went turtle! I wonder how long Tai Ting has been wondering around after that minor accident. He went to some secluded highway on a hill, lean against a tree (head slightly bleeding), puts hand on rubbish bin for support but rubbish bin moves and he falls down a slope.

And I shouted OUCH!!! when he rolled down the slope. I was praying that he won't hit his head on any trees that are in his way. Well, leg (check), body (check), neck (check. WOAH!!! That was a near miss!!) and that's all I think. Once he stops rolling as in reached the foot of the hill, I wanna cry looking at all the cut and scratches and bruises and wounds on his body and face!!

I'm so hoping that he won't die. Judging by his injuries, maybe fall into a coma?!! Please, for Ka Lok, Tai Ting, you mustn't die!! I just can't believe this series is ending this Sunday!! I'm so gonna cry when the show ends at 10.30 p.m. on Sunday night!!

P.S. The Kwan's siblings mother died of stroke. If only one of them was at home or at least if they

        reached home earlier than there's still hope to save their mother. Well, there's nothing we

        can do to change it. And Kwan Sifu has a sudden blindness illness. *Sigh!!* The Kwan family is

        full of bad luck!!

So, Man Wah will have a miscarriage which she will be definitely be super upset!! Tai Ting will finally acknowledge his father. And he might even get back together with Ka Lok after what she did for him even though we all know is still immorally wrong!!

After reading this, y'all might guess that Tai Ting survived the fall. Not after more than 2 days of rescue search!! Ka Lok and Choi Yi cooperate to seach for him but fails. Then, the police help to search for him and almost miss him!! Tai Ting heard them but he was like 90% unconscious, so he couldn't shout for help. That's all I know!! About Kwan Sifu, I guess he will be alright. Starting a new life in a new house I presume.
